HI Kirsten!we thought maybe you would like to hear some news about Roan and his life here in Colorado. He is just the most wonderful cat! To start with, we decided to change his name from Roan to Aengus - he just looked like an "Aengus" to us! Each morning he joyfully wakes us up by leaping onto our bed purring up a storm and always with one of his toy mice to let us know we are just wasting the day away in bed when there are lots of "fetch" games to be played, "King of the Mountain on the kitty climber, or wrestling with Gizmo! He has decided that, next to the laser beam toys, fetching toys is his absolute favorite thing to do.The time and effort you guys put into raising these kittens is very apparent - he is absolutely fearless - even in the face of the vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, and many visitors. He is so very curious about everything. One of us will be involved in a job, only to look up and find him intently watching us or crowding us to "supervise" whatever we're doing! I find him following me around the house with his tiny little chirp as I move from room to room. He is a true buddy. The more we know him, the more impressed and enchanted we are, not only by the personality and traits of this little Maine Coon, but by all the work and love you guys put into your kittens and helping prepare us as their adoptive parents! Thank you for all that and more!He seems to understand "No!", other than the fact that he consistently enjoys eating Gizmo's food rather than his own. We are working on getting everyone to eat their own meals! He rode back from Kansas City to Fort Collins with us either perched on our Labrador's back or sprawled on the console of the Highlander. Didn't seem the least bit put off by the LONNNGGGG drive! We have been so impressed by the way he approaches the other furry members of our family - he is so friendly and wanting to interact, yet not pushy in the least. What a great personality! To put it succinctly, we are in love with this little guy and the joy he has brought to our family! Please know that we would be more than happy to serve as a reference for anyone who is considering a kitten from Celtic Cats Maine Coons. We've attached some pics we thought you might enjoy and will continue to send updates and pics as he grows (and he IS growing fast)! Thanks again for all your good care of Aengus and us as his new owners! Take Care and hope all is going well with you and yours!
Kind Regards,
The Jones Family

Kirsten,
Wow, what an awesome experience it has been meeting and bringing our baby Maine Coon to our house!!  From being warmly greeted by all the gentle kitty family members, to seeing our new baby doll enjoying her first home, and leaving with a wonderful care package for Gwenny to remember her baby days, everything was precious and “purfect”!!  Your cattery is an example for all others to follow; we have been to other breeders, but none come close to the care and love that is sooo evident in all you do for your animals!  We have been promoting Celtic Cats to all our family and friends on how awesome everything has been.  Gwenny was such an angel on the long car ride home.  She snuggled right into her car carrier and watched the kids while they talked to her and each other.  She did convince us to let her out (she is vocal) and hug Camden for awhile, which made for some great bonding time.  When we got home, Gwenny went to Cam’s room and immediately sniffed around and seemed completely at ease.  She is a very confident little kitty, for sure.  She was snooping around the house within hours, and was not intimidated by our other cats at all.  We introduced her to the dogs in the morning, and again Guinevere was quite amazing.  She really enjoys playing hide and seek with Lucy, our Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  Lucy tends to be the peace maker in our house, and she has done a great job at integrating the two cats with Gwenny.  Thanks again for EVERYTHING, and we will continue to keep in touch often!! Again, you have a top notch, triple A, class act in Celtic Cats! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better Maine Coon kitty!
Take care,
Randy, Debby, Camden and Cassidy Lydick

Kirsten,
My wife and I want to thank you for your hospitality and then of course for allowing us to take Branwen home.
We have been to many breeders in our time and I must say that you are the first one that we felt so comfortable with. You seem to care very much for your animals (kids). We were so amazed at how beautiful your cats are and the fact that they were so friendly. This day was a real pleasure for both of us.
Branwen is settling in and is understandably a bit shy of her new surroundings. She is already responding to Helen and will come over to visit her. I think that it helped Branwen by riding home in Helen’s lap. She is comfortable with me when I go to her and starts to purr and play. I know that it will take her a bit of time to make this her home. She is so sweet.
We wish you well and can’t thank you enough,
The Ewtons

Hi Kirsten,
I just wanted to let you know Emmitt/ Frodo is doing so great. We love him to pieces! He is the sweetest snuggle bug ever. He is so playful and precious. Every now and then he meows and looks around. I know he misses you and the rest of his family. You have done such a great job socializing him. He slept between the two of us last night. He woke up early 5:30 and wanted to play, so he went and woke up our son. He was so happy he ran in our room and turned on the lights. Hopefully he will get on central time soon. :) Emmitt is getting more comfortable with our boy. Today during his nap, Emmitt slept on Ben's bed,and Ben didn't sleep because he was so excited kitty was there. It was sweet. He is eating and drinking well and using the litter box. He loves to play toys and rode in the car very well for Matt. Just wanted to thank you and let you know we are enjoying him so much!

Kirsten,
I'm just loving my kitty. I just can't say enough about how great he is. I've had a few cats in my time but never one like him. He has just the sweetest most laid back personality. My Nephew was visiting from Dallas and all he could do was talk about Bentley. He played with him for hours on the kitty condo. We're going to Dallas this weekend to see LSU in the Cotton Bowl and he made me promise to bring Bentley to his house.Sooooo, guess who's coming to Dallas? Sir Bentley. He just loves company and action. He walks right up to Billy, my 90 pound Golden Retriever , and just plops down in front of him and starts rolling on his back.  Billy just looks at me like he's saying," So what do you want me to do now?" They're getting to be good friends, and they look like brothers with their red hair.As you can tell, he has fit into the family wonderfully. I'll send another set of pictures for his 6 month birthday... He is really starting to get ginormous,  as my daughter would say. And speaking of my daughter she is so smitten with Bentley that she is really wanting a Maine Coon for herself. She is a total Crazy Cat Lady like me...Soooo, I may looking at your Spring litter for Bentley's HALF Brother. Thanks again for my new Redheaded Boyfriend

Dear Kirsten,
Cats have been members of our household for more than twenty years. We have loved them all as they became members of our family. But none could compare to our little Legolas. He grows by leaps and bounds and his beauty is only exceeded by his personality. In the short time that he has been with us he has captured our hearts like no other. I can't imagine what our lives would be without him. We would highly recommend your cattery to anyone wishing to own one of these magnificent cats. Your love for what you do is obvious and the personalization of the kittens is a tremendous help with their transition from your home to the new owner's. With the rate at which he is growing it is hard to imagine that he wont be fully grown for 3 to 4 years. These cats are unlike any other we have known. I can recommend them whole heartedly to anyone thinking about buying one for their home. Good luck with your future litters.
Sincerely,
Lego's Daddy

Kirsten!
I know I have told you just about every time that I talk to you how happy Frizzy (Brannagh) and Fro (Brannigan) make me! After losing my first Maine Coon, I remember stumbling upon your site shortly after and saw that you had just had a litter and were expecting another not too long from then, too! I didn't say anything because I thought it would probably be too soon to get another. (And I loved it even more because it was Irish! (: ) But coincidentally, as you know, my mom was looking at your site, too. And the rest is history!
Your compassion and love for your animals, and ALL animals as we have learned, was one of the reasons why we were so happy to have found you as a breeder. I can't even tell you how happy it made me when I found out that you were going to trust us with not ONE but TWO of these cleverly disguised sweet (crazy!), innocent (mischevious!) kittens. They balance each other out very well and I can't imagine not having the two of them together. So thank you for two of the best fur babies in the world!

First of all Prince is a wonderful asset to the family. He's the most affectionate, playful kitten we're ever known. He loves playing with anything and our 5 yr. old (birthday next wk) spends hours every week running through the house with Prince chasing a rope or something and he giggles the entire time. He's definitely the most entertainment we've had in years.
