The CFA is the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats. Here you will find a wealth of information on cat breeds, cat shows, and cat care, as well as breeder/exhibitor information.

Established in 1979, TICA is a premiere registry of cats around the world.

Information on Early Spay/Neuter

Celtic Cats encourages and practices early spay/neuter in pets. Early spay/neuter is supported by The American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.  For more information about Early spay and neuter you can go here to see what the ASPCA has to say. You will also find more positive information here at the Cat Fanciers' Association.

Dangers of Essential Oils and Cats

Although for many, essential oils are a pleasant aromatherapy and homeopathic healing remedy, for cats, they are very deadly. Whether it is through ingestion, skin absorption, or even inhalation, essential oils cause serious liver and toxicity problems in cats that can lead to death if untreated or caught in time.

Winn Feline Foundation

The Winn Feline Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1968 that supports studies to improve cat health. Projects funded by Winn provide information that is used every day to treat cat diseases.

PawPeds

This database is concerned with the genetic history of registered cats. It acts as an extremely valuable source to breeders in obtaining detailed and accurate calculations for inbreeding coefficients, as well as information on certain genetic health disorders.

Maine Coon Rescue

Here you will find a nationwide, non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of Maine Coon and Maine Coon mix cats. 

United Maine Coon Cat Rescue

The United Maine Coon Cat Rescue League is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit, volunteer organization made up of breeders and fanciers of the Maine Coon Cat.

Lexington Humane Society

Venita is not only the owner of this beautiful cattery, but she is also my friend and mentor.  Venita has been producing magnificent XL Maine Coons for several years, with the majority of her lines originating in Europe, where she comes to us from. Venita specializes in gorgeous, flowing, extra long tails and strong, kissable muzzles.  All of her cats are exceptional and I love any excuse to visit her.
