Medina Show, 2010

Our 5 month old Queen in Training, Igraine, entered her first kitten show this past weekend in Medina, Ohio. We are very proud of how well she behaved her first time out! She was lovely and sweet. She took first place, best of color in her color class in one ring, and she came in 2nd place in her color class in 3 more rings. :) We believe this is just the beginning of great things to come!
We had a wonderful time at the show, spending time and chatting with many of our wonderful friends who breed Maine Coons across the Great Lakes Region! :)

Goodbye Anwen!

Anwen went to live with her new owners this past weekend. She is already greatly missed in our home! We love you Anwen! You have found a wonderful home!

We still have one kitten available.

Celtic Cats Anwen is still available for adoption. She is a stunning brown tabby with white. She was 8 weeks old yesterday. Anwen is very adventurous and feisty. She loves to explore, loves to eat, and loves to cuddle when she's tuckered out. Send me an email for further inquiries about Anwen.

Delta Airlines lost a friend of mine's beautiful Maine Coon kitten, Power Pepper, while he was changing planes in Georgia on April 15, 2010. He was last seen in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. Please, if anyone has any news, or has seen this cat, help him get back to his owner! There is a reward for his safe return! Fantasia delivered 2 beautiful brown tabby babies early in the morning on Wednesday, March 3, 2010! Congratulations Fantasia on the delivery of your first litter! We are so proud of you!

Kittyhawk Felines Show

Our girls Bizou and Gazella competed in the Kittyhawk Felines CFA show in Dayton, Ohio yesterday! It was a very fun and productive day. Gazella gained her champion title and both girls made lots of new friends.

Parma, Ohio Show

Yesterday, Jan. 17, 2010, Bizou and Gazella made their debuts in the kitten class at the Stones River Cat Fanciers show in Parma, Ohio. The girls were a little nervous, but it was a great learning experience for them, and we all had a really great time. We're looking forward to our next show in February already! :)

Welcome Gazzella!

We have welcomed the oh so sweet and lovable Gazzella into our lives, and couldn't be more thrilled! She has come to live in the home of my doting mother, where she will never be without a lap to cuddle in! Thank you Vens Passion for this charming and endearing little girl who is making us all so happy!

Happy Birthday Lestat!!!

Hooray! Ch Vens Passion Lestat of Celtic Cats is 1 year old today! A day of much pampering and doting has ended with a very sleepy, very happy kitty boy. :)

Vens Passion Bizou D'Amour will be joining our household on Thursday, November 5, 2009! :) I can't tell you how excited we are to finally be bringing this gorgeous girl home with us. Show News!

Celtic Cats and Vens Passion attended the SternWheel Cat fancier's Cat show in Columbus, OH this weekend. It was a very intense show with lots of great competition. Vens Passion PS I Love You More was picked 2nd Best Maine Coon kitten in one ring, and received lots of attention from the judges even though she was the youngest kitten there. Lestat was picked 1st place Best in Color in 3 out of 6 rings against a much more mature and experienced red male. We met several new friends, and overall had a wonderful weekend!

August 22-23 2009. Medina, Ohio. Lestat Championed this weekend during a very exciting show in Ohio. :) The Show Hall was crawling with magnificent cats, and we made lots of new friends. Starting in September, we will begin competing for our Grand. Wish us luck along the way! And, in the meantime, check out pictures from this weekend.

Vens Passion has Kittens!

My friends at Vens Passion have babies!!! :) That's right, there are some extremely cute little fluff balls available. 7 kittens were born on August 4 2009 out of CinC's Hadassah and Obtine Ares. 2 blue tabby males. 1 blue tabby female. 1 brown tabby male. 2 brown tabby females, and 1 cream tabby male! These kittens are just too precious!

5 more kittens were ALSO born on August 4, 2009 out of Vens Passion Olympia and Justcoons Nevermind of Big Five. Here we have 2 black with white males. 1 silver with white male. 1 black tortie female, and 1 silver patch female. :)

July 18, 2009. Auburn, Indiana. Lestat came home today with a ribbon for Second Best of Breed in the Kitten Division. It was some very tough competition! :)
