Medina, Oh Cat Show 08/23/2009
It's 12:10am and I'm just getting into bed after a long two day show in Medina, Ohio this weekend. It was a great experience, and I had a lot of fun. Lestat competed in his Championship Open and won 8 winners ribbons and 2 best of color. So, now Lestat is a Champion and can start competing for points towards a Grand Champion. I am very excited and proud of my boy. Our next show will be September 5th in Columbus Ohio. So, please come out and say hi! :) 2 Comments Well, once again, I've gotten completely carried away and lost all track of the time. It's 1am and I will definitely be going to bed after this blog post! :) I've spent a lot of time these past couple of days trying to update this website and get it as close to finished as possible. I think if you browse around, you will see quite a few significant changes! I still have quite a bit of work to do to get this website finished, but we are certainly getting there. I visited my friends at Vens Passion today to play with their newest kittens, and I highly encourage you to visit them at www.venspassion.com. There are two brand new litters that were both born on August 4th, making 12 kittens available for adoption as soon as they are weaned. In fact, I've already got my eye on one of them for myself!! haha! Make sure you check out all the new information I've added today, and especially scroll down to the bottom of the Recommended Links page. I have added a "music video" of a special mean kitty named Sparta. It's quite hilarious. I'm still chuckling to myself about it, and that "mean kitty" song is permanently stuck in my head! If you enjoyed that video, Check out Sparta's page at YouTube. This little guy is quite famous now! He was also recently diagnosed with feline Leukemia, so check out his video page and leave his owners some love! GOODNIGHT! My First Post! 08/06/2009
Hello World! This is my first official post on my brand new website! I'm not even sure where I should begin. My website is currently under construction, so if you are clicking links and browsing, you will notice quite a few "holes" for the time being. It has been all of 5 hours since I started designing and building this site, so I have quite a bit left to do. I work full time for a small animal hospital during the week, so bear with me, as my spare time to play on the computer will have to come in snatches. It is currently 2 o'clock in the morning, so I am afraid this first blog post will have to be cut short, but please come back soon and watch as this website grows into something beautiful! :) | AuthorMy name is Kirsten Mari Perkins, and I live in Central Kentucky. I have over 4 years experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, and I've volunteered with animal rescue and rehabilitation my whole life. In 2009, with the help of dear friends, I decided to branch out into the world of Maine Coon Breeding. This Blog will record my experiences along the way! ArchivesMarch 2011 Categories |
